GINORMOUS grapefruit
Yes, Ginormous!!!! On Saturday, a friend generously gave us some yummy grapefruits off her tree. The kids were surprised when they saw how big they were. They are probably 10 or 20 times the size of a lemon, have a 1- 1 in a half inch rind and are not too far in size from the size of Mariah's head, but look like Giant Lemons!!!

Douglas Trampoline Wrestler
Douglas has recently developed a hobby of wrestling. He likes to run around with his friend on the trampoline where they " wrestle". It is really entertaining to see the inner boy in both of them. We are glad to know that they have that in them. Andrew is also the only boy in his family. Thankfully, they haven't really hurt themselves, and just seem to have a lot of fun wrestling.
The same night of Wrestling for Reading, during the day, Douglas and some of his friends got sent to the office for pretend "wrestling" at recess. But, we didn't even get a call, so it was OK. What do they think, advertising something like that at school?

Wrestling ...for Reading!!!
So, on Friday, the kids had a "wrestling for reading" fundraiser at their Elementary school. It was quite the event to see grown men pretend wrestling like that. Mariah was convinced it was real and was half scared by it all, Douglas loved it and couldn't get enough of it, and Sarah and I were a little repulsed by the show of skin, rolls of fat, and man verses woman fight. Over all it was very silly and humerous but definitely bit too red neck for my tastes.......Check out these pictures and you can judge for yourself!

FHE
For FHE the other Monday, Hailey Myers (our cousin) taught the lesson on small and simple things. She made a cake, and for the subject lesson, told asked us if we could eat a peice of cake whole. We all said NO, but megan was like.... uhhh YAAAAA!and so she did.....STUFF a whole piece of cake in her face....and it was pretty funny!!!!
